The Alumni Experience

Carey fosters a strong and enduring connection with its alumni through the Old Carey Grammarians Association, events, reunions and programs.

The Alumni Experience
The Alumni Experience

Upon graduation, all Carey students become members of the Old Carey Grammarians Association (OCGA). The OCGA is committed to nurturing an inclusive, engaged and supportive network where all 18,000+ members feel valued and connected.

With members located all around the world, a core focus of the OCGA is to strengthen connections amongst alumni, regardless of their location. Carey's Alumni and Community team works alongside the OCGA to support alumni engagement and deliver programs, events and opportunities that help our alumni stay connected with each other and with Carey.

Whether attending events, reconnecting at reunions, mentoring students or contributing to the School's initiatives, alumni play an important role in shaping and strengthening the ongoing legacy of Carey. We encourage all members of the Carey community to stay involved and continue building lifelong connections.

Events and reunions

The annual events schedule offers many opportunities for alumni to reconnect, network and celebrate together.

We hold reunions at 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years in Melbourne throughout the year. We also host interstate and international reunions. Alumni will receive email invitations to their reunions in the lead up to the date and can check OCGAs social media for further updates. If you would like to organise a reunion outside of these key milestone years or location, please contact the Alumni and Community Team.
