Join this year’s growing list of Community Giving Appeal donors and help with Carey’s solar energy expansion!

We’re investing in a long-term solution to one of our largest and fastest-growing expenses: energy. The installation of this large-scale solar energy system will allow the School to generate its own electricity during the school day.

The financial savings from this project – estimated at more than $40,000 every year – will be reinvested directly into student programs, facilities and learning opportunities.

Carey’s Year 12 Environment Captains are passionate about the project:

‘Using sunlight to power our everyday lives is not only convenient, but extremely cost-effective in the long run! This project shows great progress towards our collective goal of a sustainable future.’ – Nilly

‘As a school community, we aim to lead by example. This project may come with an initial cost, but it’s an important investment in an impactful, net-zero future.’ - Luca

With your support, together, we can build a lasting legacy: reduced operational costs, reinvested savings for our students and a school powered by clean energy for generations to come.

Every donation – large or small – will support this important project and be matched by the School, doubling the community's impact.

Make your gift today – Powering Carey's Future!
