We are thrilled with the exciting campus developments which have continued here at Junior School Donvale, with even more to look forward to in the coming months.

Over the Easter break, the Donvale Hall underwent a full audiovisual upgrade, featuring a state-of-the-art fully integrated system. Similarly, a large touch screen was installed in our Conference Room. These new technologies will provide crisp and clear visuals and audio and enable seamless operation and connectivity.

Our new maintenance centre is nearing completion. This strategic location frees up valuable space close to the ELC that will be repurposed for teaching and learning. Space has also been opened up down on the Flat with the removal of three trees that were inhibiting the curation of this area. This expansive lush green parkland will be enjoyed even more during PE and playtime.

In May, we start construction on an expansive all-weather cover over the synthetic sports area adjacent to the adventure playground. This eagerly anticipated and welcome addition will improve the functionality of this space for PE, co-curricular activities and recreation by providing much-needed shade during warmer months as well as protection from inclement weather.

It’s true to say that our campus has undergone significant transformative changes in recent years, whilst maintaining a focus on preserving the natural beauty of our unique bush setting. These upgrades are designed to enhance the overall learning experience for both students and staff and demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in education.

Looking ahead, we have exciting plans to expand our Early Learning Centre, and we can't wait to share more details with you as this project unfolds. Thank you to the staff and parents for their continued support and involvement in our close-knit school community. Together, we have created an environment where every student can thrive and succeed.
