Camp Toonallook

Outdoor Education is an important part of the Carey learning journey, and Camp Toonallook is a home away from home for our students.

On the shores of Lake Victoria in the beautiful Banksia Peninsula, Camp Toonallook is a four-hectare Outdoor Education campus for challenges, activities and fun on the water and the land.

Located approximately 300 kilometres from Melbourne, ‘Toona’ provides Outdoor Education experiences for Junior and Middle School students and is the venue for several leadership camps and retreats for older students.

Water- and land-based activities, supervised by professional Outdoor Education instructors, provide challenges that develop physical confidence, strengthen resilience and allow students to expand their friendship groups – and have a lot of fun at the same time.
