It’s fair to say it has been a frustrating Term 3 for Carey Sport. Another term has now come to an end, with not a single ball kicked, thrown or hit for the Winter or Spring APS Seasons. Indeed it’s been a really tough time for our students and staff who love Carey Sport and all that it brings for our wellbeing. I congratulate all students who continued to take up the online Canvas sport offerings throughout the term and urge all students to access these pages over the holidays. With the likelihood of APS Sport again being on hold for the foreseeable future I am pleased to announce exciting news for Carey Sport in Term 4.

CareyFit – is a sporting program we are introducing for all Carey students from Prep to Year 12 in Term 4. It is a bespoke online sporting platform, designed especially for Carey students and led by former Carey student and elite netballer Sarah Wall. CareyFit’s age-specific workouts deliver online sports training/physical activity with a twist as Sarah and her team provide high-class and engaging summer sport programs in partnership with test cricketers, Hockeyroos, AFL footballers, AIS & VIS graduates, among others. Students will love the fun, challenging and Carey-specific content to keep students engaged, happy and healthy throughout Term 4. Keep your eyes out on CareyLink and Carey’s social media sites for specific details in the coming weeks.
