Differentiation requires educators to create learning programs which meet individual needs. This helps to create positive emotion about learning, motivating the learner to strive for higher levels of achievement.  It is an important aspect of a Carey education, taking account of each student's starting point and what level of achievement is suitable for them. This enables teachers to set a level that each student can actually achieve, creating a sense of accomplishment.

Students are continually encouraged to be the best they can be, empowered and eager for the next challenge.
