With obvious uncertainty surrounding the community amidst the current lockdown, we are assuming that in the event of a return to school, the Carey winter APS season will resume for the last two weeks of the season. Our fixtured Saturdays for the remainder of the winter season are 31July and 7 August.
Spring Season
I’m pleased to announce that the spring APS season will commence on Saturday 14 August with our annual Year 7 compulsory Athletics Trials morning at the Bulleen Sports Complex. In addition, we have entered three boys’ and two girls’ water polo teams into the APS competition – training will start in the weeks leading up to the 14 August start. APS athletics lead-up meets are scheduled to start on Saturday 21 August. Please check CareyLink for updates in the coming weeks.
Carey Olympians
This week in assembly, we presented to students an Olympic-themed session which showcased past Carey students competing at the Tokyo games.
