After the frustration of the spring season lockdown, we were delighted to welcome back Carey summer sport in November. Our Rowing crews had an all-Carey training day on Saturday at Nagambie and, despite a few very tired rowers, all students had a great day!
Carey First teams have also been training hard since lockdown ended and we’ve managed to have some terrific practice games against Geelong College and Caulfield in recent weeks. Our Swim/Dive team had their first meet since March, hosting Wesley and Caulfield in a co-ed modified program which had fantastic attendance and participation from all involved.
Term 1 Summer Season 2022
Teams are entered, venues booked, coaches appointed and all students will be required for the summer APS season of Carey Sports and Activities from Week 1 of Term 1. Training venue details will be posted on CareyLink before the end of Term 4. Fully vaccinated spectators are also welcome at all APS sport next year. We look forward to seeing our fantastic supporters cheering on our Carey teams from the sidelines!
Sport changes
Please note that students are NOT permitted to change their summer or winter sport/activity for 2022. The only exception is for medical reasons and a medical certificate will be required – please email paul.jepson@carey.com.au
