Carey Celebrates Literature Festival recently hosted a delightful after-school illustrator event featuring the talented Lucinda Gifford. The afternoon saw an impressive turnout, with families and children eager to engage in the Junior School – Kew campus library event.

One of the highlights of the event was the successful fundraising effort, raising $700 that will go towards refreshing some of the library’s older furniture. This achievement is a testament to the community's commitment to enhancing the School's resources and creating a more inviting space for everyone.

Families were treated to delicious cupcakes made by Florencia Sugar Art, who is one of our Carey parents and a talented baker. These delightful confections were a big hit, adding a welcome sweet afternoon treat to the event.
