Carey Art Acquisition Award Exhibition
The Carey Art Acquisition Award Exhibition celebrates the outstanding contributions made by students who studied a VCE or IB Visual Arts or Art/Design subject in 2024. The works shown in this exhibition have been selected as part of the Carey Art/Design Acquisition program for 2025.
The winners of the Art Acquisition Awards are: Lola Dimitropoulos and Kiana Hosseini (VCE Art); William Addison-Wade (VCE Media); Abi Klein and Fancy Fei (VCE Vis Comm); Abi Klein (VCE PDT – Textiles); Lachlan Smith (VCE PDT – Wood/Metal); Lucy Wynne and Derek Ding (IB Visual Arts); and Rianna Shah (IB Design Technology).
The exhibition highlights exemplary work and supports the creative growth of students in our Senior School and is open all of Term 1 – in the Senior School Project Gallery.
The Senior School Project Gallery initiative is in its ninth year and has shown more than 25 exhibitions and over 150 creative works over this period. Many students who have been shown in this space are now practising in the creative arts and design industries.
