Over the recent Term 1 holidays, we saw some wonderful sporting performances, including the following:
  • Parth (Year 9ST) won the singles 14/u National Tennis Clay Court Championship title, held in Canberra. He also came runner up in the 14/u doubles event. An outstanding result!
  • Alice (Year 11M) and Abbey (Year 10M) played for Victoria in the National Netball Championships in the U17 age group. Victoria finished third overall after defeating Western Australia in the bronze medal match. In further exciting news, both Alice and Abbey were selected in the Australian U17 Squad on the back of their performances at the National Championships. Congratulations girls!
  • Juliette (Year 9D) competed in the Australian Athletics Junior Championships in Perth, where she jumped a personal best and placed 4th overall in the U15 triple jump. Well done, Juliette!

At the start of Term 2, we were able to celebrate the success of the First Futsal Team in a Senior School Assembly (feature image), who won the 2025 APS Futsal Premiership in the Summer Sport season, with a 9:0 win:loss record. An outstanding achievement to go undefeated in such a in a competitive competition. Coach Manny Koutroulis summarised the many highlights and performances throughout the season and all squad members were recognised on stage with a medal ceremony.
