Academic Scholarships
Carey offers Academic Scholarships each year to students in Years 7 and 10.
Applications for 2027 Academic Scholarships have closed. Applications for 2028 Academic Scholarships will open later this year.
Application process
Registration for all scholarships is available online from mid-October to late January in the year prior to entry. Students undertake the Scholarship test in the February prior to their proposed year of entry, e.g. in the February of Year 6 for Year 7 entry. All candidates are contacted in due course to learn the outcome of their application.
Additional requirements for Year 10 Academic Scholarship applications
In addition to the online application, all applicants must also send a copy of their latest school report to the Admissions Office at Carey. Please send reports to:

Results
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the relevant school section to arrange an interview. Unsuccessful candidates will receive notification once the selection process has been finalised, along with a copy of the test results. This process can take several weeks to complete.
