Child Safety
Carey is committed to providing a child safe environment. The safety of our students is the responsibility of all staff in our school.
Teachers must hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). It is a legal requirement within Victoria that all staff employed by schools not holding a current VIT Registration must hold a current Working With Children Check.
We are committed to acting in the best interests of children and their wellbeing and to keeping them safe at all times. Our Statement of Commitment to Child Safety outlines our approach to achieving this.
