Carey offers a limited number of Access and Equity Scholarships for students commencing in Year 7 or 10.

Access and Equity

Access and Equity Scholarships provide opportunities for individuals who would not otherwise be able to attend our School, to benefit from the Carey experience and fulfil their potential.

These scholarships support Carey's strong commitment to social justice and contribute to the diversity and inclusiveness of Carey's student body.

Eligibility

Access and Equity Scholarships are offered to an applicant commencing Year 7 or Year 10, experiencing financial disadvantage or hardship - subject to a financial assessment.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic about attending school, likely to complete Year 12 and have parents or family that have demonstrated support and encouragement for the Scholarship application and enrolment.

What the Scholarship covers

The Access and Equity Scholarship covers the following:

  • Tuition fees from commencement in Year 7 or Year 10, up to and including Year 12
  • Consolidated charges such as camps and excursions
  • Laptop

Key Dates

Applications close at the end of Term 1 each year.
