About

Anzac Day Lunch

Overview:

Last week, each of our school sections paused to reflect on the sacrifices of those who have gone before us, including the 40 Old Carey Grammarians who lost their lives in World War II.

In Assemblies all across the school, students were given the opportunity to pay their respects and listen to some of the stories of former students who served in the armed forces. Following the Senior School Assembly, in which the contribution of Sandell brothers Eric and Arthur was highlighted, the traditional OCGA Anzac Day Lunch was held in the foyer of the DYPAC.
