The Senior School Musical, Urinetown, closed on Saturday 5 April to rave reviews with audiences across the whole week of shows commenting on the professional production and dynamic performance of the students involved.

All students and staff involved in the production are to be commended on their wonderful efforts to present a rollicking tale that had audiences tapping along in their seats and laughing until their stomachs were sore.

The story revolved around a city that had been inflicted with a terrible drought. Fortunes had been made through bribery and the monopolisation of the public toilets. A brutal police force was maintaining law and order. Break the law and you were sent to the infamous ‘Urinetown’. Carey staff and students were extremely successful in presenting an epic tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution, set in a time when water was worth its weight in gold.
