What do you do when libraries and bookshops are closed, the weather is cooling, and sitting down with a good book would be perfect but you have no book?

If you are a Carey student, a solution could be to access our extensive range of e-books and audiobooks by going to the CLI Library page on CareyLink. You can find lots of great resources on this page, including the Wide Reading page which includes links to three platforms that have ebooks and audiobooks: BorrowBox, Overdrive and Wheelers. Login using either your usual Carey computer username and password or your email address (each platform tells you which), and then you can start browsing and borrowing. There are Apps for each platform you can download to your phone which is perfect for audiobooks. You just need to select Carey Baptist Grammar School as your library on these apps and then you will be in and able to borrow. You’ll be able to go for walks with your phone in your pocket, your earphones in your ears and enjoy a story as well as the great outdoors and your exercise.

If you are having any issues accessing e-books please email Library Requests and during normal school hours library staff will be able to help quickly.
