The Return of the JSPA

The Return of the JSPA Junior School Sausage Sizzle
The second last day of Term 1 saw the Junior School Parents Association (JSPA) Junior School Kew (JSK) Sausage sizzle return for the first time since 2019. It was a beautiful sunny day and a delight seeing the children smiling as they patiently lined up for their sausage, drink and snake.

The sausage sizzle was a huge success and it would not have been possible without the tremendous efforts of the JSPA committee and the wonderful parent volunteers who assisted on the day. Thank you to the JSK community for your generous support and donations. The funds raised will be donated back to the school for items presented by the Student Representative Committee.

Year 5 and Prep Parent Welcome Evening
The JSPA were very grateful to be able to co-host the Year 5 and Prep Parent evening on 25 March after it had been postponed earlier in the year. The event was a great success with a large turnout to celebrate the new school year with drinks, finger food and lots of laughter in the Jeffrey O Thomas Quadrangle. There was a real sense of community as both new and existing families to Carey had the opportunity to meet, share some stories and forge new friendships. Thank you to all who contributed with hosting this important community event and to those who attended on the night. It was a fun night for all!
