Upper Primary Co-ordinator – Junior School Kew
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated professionals for the fixed-term position of Upper Primary Co-ordinator based at our Junior School, Kew campus. This position is for the duration of Semester 2, 2019.
Purpose of Role
The key purpose of this role is to provide pastoral leadership to Upper Primary students, (Years 4–6) parents and staff, supported by the Head of School and Deputy Head –Student Wellbeing. The Upper Primary Co-ordinator is part of the Junior School Executive and as such they contribute to the strategic management and development of the Junior School. The Upper Primary Co-ordinator will develop and maintain daily operational procedures and contribute to a range of programs related to student wellbeing policies and practices.
The successful candidate will teach in the Upper Primary area, with 0.2FTE allocated to the position of responisibility. The capacity to teach Physical Education or Learning Development (remediation and extension support) would be an advantage.
