Sports & Activities Office Coordinator

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and motivated professionals for the full time, 6 month fixed-term  position of Sports & Activities Office Coordinator based at our Kew campus.

This position is full time and required 44 weeks of the year. A valid Employee Working With Children Check is a requirement of employment. 

Purpose of Role

The Sport and Activities Office Coordinator reports to the Head of Sport and Activities and is a key member of the Sport and Activities Department.  The position is responsible for supporting the Head of Sport and Activities and the Department to coordinate the administrative and financial processes required to deliver the School’s Sports & Activities program and House Sports.  The program is designed to enhance the wellbeing of students through participation, engagement and providing opportunities for personal growth.

The Sport and Activities Office Coordinator provides administrative support to staff involved in the delivery of the program (primarily Staff Members in Charge of Sport (SMIC’s), Sports Managers and Coaches) and also oversees the fixtures, venues and coordinates the financial transactions and processes associated with the program.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • Previous experience within an educational environment, ideally within an administrative and/or coordination role (highly desirable)  
  • Post-secondary qualifications in administration and/or related field (such as Certificate 4)
