Following advice from the state government and the Department of Health and Human Services in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have reviewed all upcoming school programs. The health and safety of our students, staff and the broader community informs all our decisions. We will be regularly reviewing this list as new information and advice about the situation becomes available.

Our co-curricular programs are currently under review for Term 3 and the remainder of the year.

Camps

There will be no overnight programs from now until the end of Term 2. This includes:

  • Year 7 Toonallook camps
  • Year 4, Year 6 and Year 10 Outdoor Education programs
  • Robinson River program
  • Music camps (including internal camps such as the senior camp at Amberley and external camps such as Generations in Jazz)
  • Donvale Year 6 Canberra trip (deferred to July)
  • All international school trips

Musicals

The season of shows for the Senior School Musical has been cancelled. The School is working on ways we can showcase the students’ work sometime in the future.

APS Sport

All planned holiday training programs have been cancelled and the APS Winter Sport season will not commence prior to the beginning of Term 3.

APS Sport will continue to explore all fixturing alternatives to ensure winter sport matches are played, while acknowledging the situation is constantly changing and any decision made may change in the future. Keep an eye on the APS website and their Twitter or Instagram for updates.
