David Gillespie Biography

David Gillespie is a lawyer and the author of Sweet Poison, a bestselling book about how we are all poisoning ourselves with sugar. The ground-breaking book, published back in 2008, was a contributing catalyst for the current wave of sugar awareness in Australia.

In addition to writing several books about nutrition and diet, David turned his focus to education. He has also written about surviving toxic people and workplaces. His latest book, Teen Brain, is about how teenagers are uniquely susceptible to addiction and why it’s a massive issue in an age where device dependency seems to be the norm.

David is compelling, sometimes controversial, and bravely tackles topics that affect us all.
