As we find ourselves in another lockdown with many local businesses suffering from closures and an uncertain economy, it’s a great time to band together with your community. Last year, we launched the Carey Family Business Directory, a free service for all Carey business owners to list their services for others in the community. If you’re looking for a photographer, an architect, a specialised cake maker, a lawyer, a dentist, a counsellor, a physiotherapist, or maybe a new place to get takeaway from – among so many others – check out the Carey community first. And make sure to look out for the ‘Discount offered’ flag for exclusive discounts for Carey community members!

As a current Carey parent, we invite you to promote your business on the Directory and to locate goods and services provided by Carey families around Melbourne, Australia and the world!

To register and list your business details, go to the directory tab and select the 'I would like my business details to be included in the Online Community Business Directory'.

To locate a business simply search by business type or using the map to see businesses in your area.

A business listing on the Carey Family Business Directory is voluntary and free and is open to business owners who are current parents at Carey. We will look to expanding our database next year to enable our broader Carey community to participate.

The sense of community is one of the defining features of the Carey journey for so many of our families, and this directory is another way we can enhance that experience. Supporting local businesses from within the Carey community can create an efficient and effective result for both the customer and the business owner. Having that common ground provides a greater level of trust and a sense of connection in the relationship, in turn ensuring the best level of service. Additionally, every purchase or service we access from a small business helps to improve the local economy by creating and sustaining jobs.
