Over the last couple of weeks, each Prep class from Junior School Kew has taken the opportunity to visit Principal Philip Grutzner in his office to listen to stories, ask questions, and find out more about the head of the school. Students were also given the chance to introduce themselves to Mr Grutzner, and tell him why they enjoy being a Carey student.

During the visits, the sound of giggling Preppies filled the halls of Urangeline, as the children enjoyed Mr Grutzner’s somewhat creative approach to reading their favourite stories, never missing a chance to protest when he ‘accidentally’ changed a word or two. Fun was had by all of the Prep classes that visited Mr Grutzner, and it was an important part of further welcoming the Prep students into the wider School community.
