The Carey Child Care is an onsite childcare facility primarily for Carey staff children aged from three months to three years. This assists Carey staff in their employment at Carey.

The Centre operates during term time from 7.45am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. 

Applications for a position can be made after the child's birth to the Admissions Office. The application fee is $100 (permanent full time and part time staff attract a 50% discount). Places are offered on a calendar year basis, with a $500 deposit per child, payable at the point of acceptance of the offer and refundable against the first billing of Carey Child Care attendance fees only. No places can be held for mid-year entry, but should a Carey staff member return to employment at Carey during the year, they will become a priority on the Centre waiting list. Places are available for a full day's attendance only.

Fee Payments 

Carey Child Care charges a flat rate daily fee of $107 (subject to change on a yearly basis). Places are offered on a calendar year basis, with a $500* Acceptance Deposit per child, payable at the point of acceptance of the offer and refundable against Carey Child Care attendance fees and credited to the April fee account. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Carey Child Care is a Registered Child Care Service. Families may be eligible for the Child Care Benefit. For more information please visit http://www.mychild.gov.au/childcare-information/rebate. For entry to Carey Child Care, children are required to be fully immunised. Immunisation records must be provided prior to confirmation of enrolment. Fee payments are billed by the Accounts Department and payment must be made to that Department. Any queries regarding fees can be made to the Business Office on 9816 1290. Staff members can have their childcare fees deducted directly from their pay. Payroll queries may be directed to 9816 1292.

All children enrolled are considered 'permanent' for the times enrolled. As is the policy at most centres, full fees are charged for children who are absent, even due to illness.

One term's notice of withdrawal or cancellation of registration is required.
