Sport as a co-curricular activity
Carey students are required to take part in co-curricular activities throughout the year.
Parents and guardians are reminded of their child's obligations regarding school co-curricular activities, which are formally outlined in the Conditions of Enrolment document. Students are to attend sport or activities as required by the school.
When a student selects a sport this will entail after school training. Sports training in Senior School will be held on Monday (First teams) and Wednesday afternoons and in Middle School on Monday (Development squad) and Thursday afternoons.
Exceptions will be some rowing squads, and the swimming squad which trains at the Carey Sports Complex pool during the mornings. A full fixture in each activity will be available via the intranet.
