The Carey Musical Theatre Company

The annual School Musical production began in 1985 and this year has celebrated 25 unbroken years with an outstanding production of Calamity Jane. This followed the award for Junior Production of the Year by the Musical Theatre Guild of Victoria in December 2008 for the 2008 production of Anything Goes. At the same Awards night in Ballarat Oliver Wicks was named Best Male in a Supporting Role for his characterisation of Moonface Martin in the same production. The Company has again been invited to perform, Windy City from Calamity Jane at the Guild Award ceremony in Frankston in December this year.
