Symphony Orchestra
This large group plays classical music and occasionally, film and show music. It is an advanced level orchestra made up of mainly orchestral string players, with pairs of woodwind and brass players, a soloist, plus percussion. The orchestra numbers about 50 players from Years 7-12.
Students who have been training in the Middle School Strings and have demonstrated advanced technical skills on their instrument are welcome to join. The non-string positions are placed by audition or by invitation.
