Intermediate Band

The Intermediate Band is the middle of the three Middle School bands. It is made up of about 50 woodwind, brass, percussion and string bass students, the majority of the players being Year 7 students. The group rehearses before School once a week.

Some of the works played by the Intermediate Band over recent years include:

• A Childhood Hymn by Holsinger;
• Hatikvah by Del Borgo;
• Raiders March by Williams;
• Lavender and Toys Awakening by Jones.

The band performs regularly throughout the year at assemblies, Middle School Concerts and at the Melbourne Schools Band Festival.
