Year 9 - Choosing a Course

What do students and families need to do?

Students currently enrolled in Middle School in Year 8 need to complete their subject selections online. Please return the signed Subject Selection print outs by Thursday 9 August 2012 to Mrs Yasmine McCafferty, Deputy Head (Student Learning), Carey Middle School, 349 Barkers Road, Kew Vic 3101. There will also be a box outside her office where print outs can be left.

Note: Subject Selections are due during the third week of the Year 8 Program and some students may be at Hattah or on a Rural experience at this time. Subject Selection print outs MUST be returned by the due date. 

Making your selections

In the Course Structure chart below, students will see which subjects they will study. Please click on each link listed below to read the details of each unit.

Two important points to note: While many combinations of units are possible within our timetable structure, there may be a few combinations that will not be feasible A unit may be withdrawn if there are insufficient numbers to form a viable class
