 Year 10 IB and VCE Application Form
If you wish to study an IB or VCE subject when you are in Year 10, please download and complete this application form. Application Forms to study IB or VCE subjects must be submitted, along with a completed Subject Selection Planning Sheet, to the Deputy Head of Middle School (Mrs McCafferty) by 8.30 am on Monday 6 August 2012.

Please refer to the separate pages on IB anticipation and VCE acceleration for detail about subjects available and information about planning a course of study.

There are potential advantages to be gained by completing an IB or VCE subject in Year 11:

  • To have exposure to the IB or VCE program in Year 10;
  • To reduce the workload in Year 12;
  • To provide a path of extension and challenge.

To be successful students will need to:

  • Have achieved results of an ‘A’ standard in all Semester 1 subjects;
  • Demonstrate talent in the subject area of the proposed IB/VCE subject;
  • Demonstrate they are well organised and motivated to succeed.
