OCGA Golf Day 17 March 2008
The annual Old Carey Golf Day was held at The Kew Golf Club
on Monday 17 March. The temperature of 39º caused a few late scratchings from
the capacity field. Despite the hot weather all players enjoyed their golf and
the relaxed presentation dinner afterwards.
Leigh Small (’93), playing on the day for the first time, is
the Old Carey Golf Champion for 2008. Leigh defeated Ian Huntington on a count back after they had
both scored 38 points.
The round of the day was returned by Lauren Sinclair, who
scored 41 points off a handicap of four. Lauren is the niece of OCGA Treasurer
David Hobson.
