Carey students get on board to help others

05 Sep 2008

Next Thursday 11 September, Carey students from all levels at the Kew campus will embark on yet another innovative event designed to provide assistance for families in need. This time they have targeted rural families struggling with drought conditions in eastern Victoria.

The goal is to surround Carey with a ‘food train’, one kilometre in length, comprising students and their donations of non-perishable food items, which subsequently will be collected from the School and distributed by the Salvation Army.

Food Train from 12.00 noon Thursday 11 September
349 Barkers Road, Kew
