2010 Victorian and Tasmanian IB Visual Arts Exhibition

Pia Spreadborough (’09) is one of a number of 2009 Carey IB students featured in the upcoming 2010 Victorian and Tasmanian International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Exhibition with a digital photograph printed on paper, wool, ink and acrylic paint on canvas.
Also representing Carey are Jesse Corcoran, Alana Eliott, Janine Labuschagne, Lucy Maxwell, Christina Seah and Courtney Roberts.
The Exhibition, to be held at the Glen Eira City Council Art Gallery Eira Town Hall, Caulfield from 7pm on Thursday 25 February to 5pm Sunday 7 March will illustrate the diversity of mediums utilised in the two year program. Students make use of contemporary digital media, sculptures, installations painting, textiles and ceramics to produce their works.
The pieces to be exhibited have been selected from the November 2009 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Visual Arts Course examination.
