Possible Dreams International Inc. is a non-profit organisation which partners with rural and remote communities in Swaziland, South Africa to empower families and individuals living with extreme poverty, malnutrition and endemic disease. Members come from diverse social, ethnic and religious backgrounds, and are spread throughout the world. They are united in the belief in the dignity of every human life. Dr Maithri Goonetilleke (1997) is the Founder and CEO of this amazing organisation and has started a choir with the community members in Swaziland, and the OCGA are proud to be supporters of such a great cause.
On Tuesday 23 October from 7.00 - 9.00pm (inclusive of an interval), a concert will be held in the Ian Woolf Auditorium to raise money to assist bringing this choir out to Australia in March 2013. The concert, with ticket prices at $16.50 (GST incl.) per person, will be a showcase of current student musical groups, current teaching staff and we are also bringing back some of our talented OCG musicians.
