Scholarships 2014 Entry
Carey Baptist Grammar School is pleased to offer a number of scholarships at Year 7, 10 and 11 in 2014. Scholarship testing will take place on Saturday 23 February 2013 at the school. The examination for Year 7 scholarships will take place in the morning and the examination for Years 10 and 11 scholarships will take place in the afternoon.
For students that are unable to attend on this date, a supplementary examination will be held at an outside venue on Wednesday 27 February at 9.00am. Please note there is an additional fee for parents who request the supplementary sitting service. Applications for all scholarships can be lodged online via the School website from Monday 12 November 2012. Please see relevant year level information below.
Scholarships cover 50% remission of tuition fees. They do not cover the cost of application and entry fees, books, uniform, computers or the consolidated fee (which covers camps and excursions).
Year 7 2014 Scholarships
Carey offers a number of academic scholarships for entry into Year 7 2014.
Application Process
To apply for a scholarship for entry at Year 7 2014, please click on the link below and follow the online instructions.
The registration fee for 2014 scholarship applications is $80.00. Late applications will incur a late fee rate of $230.00 ($80.00 plus $150.00 late fee). Parents requesting the supplementary sitting service will incur a $125.00 fee in addition to the standard registration fee.

Results
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Middle School Office for interview. Unsuccessful candidates will receive notification once the selection process has been finalised (this process can take several weeks to complete) along with a copy of the test results.

Year 10 and 11 (Senior School) 2014 Scholarships
Carey offers a number of academic and general excellence scholarships for entry into Years 10 and 11 in 2014.
Scholarship selection will be based on excellence in some or all of the following areas:
- Academic Record
- Leadership and Community Service
- Contribution to current school
- Sporting achievements
- Contribution to the Arts
