All teachers must hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

The School requires all teachers being appointed to a position undergo a Police Criminal Record Check (or supply to us a check not less than six months old) and requires this check to confirm no record of relevant criminal activity as determined by the School.

All teaching staff employed by the School are expected to participate in a range of duties beyond classroom responsibilities. These duties may include, but are not limited to, participation in the pastoral care program, relevant meetings, assessment and reporting, meetings with parents, professional development activities and co-curricular responsibilities.

It is now a legal requirement within Victoria, that all staff employed by schools must hold current Working With Children Card (WWC). A Working With Children Check must be obtained before commencement and then retained throughout the course of employment with the School.
